Adrenaline Thoroughbreds offer an opportunity to buy into what we think was one of the nicest colts in the Magic Millions QTIS sale. He’s a great example of everything that’s making his sire Spirit of Boom such a success in the breeding barn. He’s a medium plus sized powerful colt, with a good shoulder, hind quarter, barrel and topline - put together in a balanced and athletic way. Being born and raised at Eureka Stud, he’s had every opportunity for a successful future.

Spirit of Boom just keeps on doing the job - his 327 individual winners giving him an outstanding winners-to-runners strike rate of 69.9%. And they are classy winners too, 19 of his sons and daughters - including the popular young Gr.1 winning stallion Jonker - are stakes winners. Another 14 of his progeny such as Outback Barbie, Boomsara, Simply Fly and Miami Fleiss are stakes placed, with another 74 metropolitan winners - meaning that just under a third of his winners are at LEAST city class!

Spirit of Boom is the sire of our own Prince of Boom who seems to have untapped potential, and of recent Gr. 1 winner Jonker.  As a sire, he is tracking like champion sires Written Tycoon and I Am Invincible, with the ability to produce quality horses from lower grade mares. This trait allowed the latter pair to capitalise and become champion sires when paired with better bred and performed mares. The writing is on the wall for Spirit of Boom to make it to the very top level and we mustn’t be the only ones thinking this, with his average yearling price increasing again this year to $148k.

This exciting colt is out of the lightly raced mare Azores whose four times Australian Champion Sire, Snitzel, is doing such a great job as a broodmare sire with 19 stakes winners already; the majority of those in the past year or two.

Azores is out of the Gr.2 Queensland Guineas winner Express Air - dam of Spirit Of Boom's terrific son Simply Fly who has done such a fine job winning nine races including the Listed Chief de Beers Quality. Another four of Express Air's progeny are winners including Adrenaline's very exciting three-year-old Billionair Baby who created a big impression winning two city races in a row at the end of his juvenile season... and he will soon be back all the bigger and better!

This is one of Queensland's best families, one which has also produced the recently retired multiple Gr.1 winner Incentivise, the Queensland Oaks winner Mother Of Pearl and the stakes winners Ardrossan, Bergerac, Cheyenne Warrior, Heaven's Deal, Simply Fly, Prince of Boom and Diamondsondinside.
