HOW AN ADRENALINE SYNDICATION WORKS
Horse syndications are a popular way to race thoroughbreds in Australia. Spreading the ownership of a horse across a group of people means you all have a chance to share in the action at a fraction of the cost.
At Adrenaline Thoroughbreds, we’re committed to making sure that anyone who loves racing has the opportunity to feel the pride and excitement of racing their own horse. We do the leg work for you, selecting thoroughbreds with exciting potential, managing racehorse administration and expenditure, and providing frequent, seamless communication.
Your adventure starts when you contact us and we talk you through the range of quality new and tried horses that we have available. We’ll ask you what you’re looking for and give you the lowdown on the horses available and what they offer.
Depending on your circumstances, we’ll send you through our Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and/or Partnership Agreement.
The PDS sets out:
- Terms and conditions of the syndication, including expenses.
- The number of shares on offer and the cost of each share.
- A description of the horse’s breeding including a detailed pedigree.
- Trainer details.
- Vet report.
- Ongoing fees, inclusions and exclusions.
- Insurance details.
- Application forms.
The Partnership Agreement sets out:
- Rights and responsibilities of owners.
- Rights and responsibilities of management.
- Detailed fees and circumstances in which they apply.
- Management of prizemoney and trophies.
- Processes for dispute resolution.
- Default, transfer and termination provisions.
- Re-sale provisions.

WHAT DOES AN ADRENALINE SYNDICATION OFFER YOU?
Evidence-based bloodstock services
- We find value through credible thoroughbred vendors and buy only the best quality horses (based on pedigree, conformation and type) that are still affordable.
- Our selections are made with input from experienced, credible experts including our veterinarian Phil Burguez, who inspects the physical conformation of all prospects prior to purchase.
Flat monthly fees and flexible share sizes
- We charge a flat monthly rate so you have the peace of mind from knowing costs won’t change whether your horse is racing, training, pre-training or spelling.
- The purchase price for our horses will generally include all expenses for up to 6 months from the time the horse is advertised for sale (and as set out in detail in the PDS). This includes:
- - Breaking in
- - Spelling
- - Early education for your horse
- For most horses, the purchase price also includes nomination fees for lucrative race series including the Magic Millions, Golden Slipper and QTIS or other bonus schemes.
- We make owning a racehorse more accessible by offering a number of small-size shares in every horse we sell (as little as 2.5%).
Dedicated racehorse management
- We apply over 30 years’ industry experience to regularly review your horse’s potential, form and welfare.
- We are actively involved in all stages of your horse’s career.
- As a boutique stable, you know your Adrenaline thoroughbred is getting the very best care and attention.
Honest and consistent owner communication
- We provide regular and comprehensive training updates, notification of race nominations, and pre- and post-race performance appraisals including feedback from the jockey and trainer.
- We facilitate opportunities for you to visit your horse and to meet other owners.
- We use a dedicated communications app so you get updates on-time and access on-demand.
Fully compliant
- Adrenaline Thoroughbreds is a licensed syndicator, providing you with peace of mind. We operate under an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and comply with national ASIC regulations. We are an Approved Promoter with Racing Queensland and operate as an Authorised Representative (ARN 456200) of the Thoroughbred Trainers Service Centre (AFSL 288 213).
OWN AN ADRENALINE RACEHORSE IN FOUR EASY STEPS
- Enquire now. One of our management team will contact you to discuss your options, including horses and share sizes available. We’ll email you our current Prospectus, which lists all our available horses.
- Once you’ve decided which horse you want to be part of, we’ll send you the Product Disclosure Statement and/or Partnership Agreement.
- Once you’ve reviewed the documentation, complete the relevant Application Forms and return via email or post, together with any required identification documents.
- Make purchase price payment and set up recurring payment/direct debit for monthly ongoings.
Communication updates about your horse’s progress start as soon as you've subscribed. Once you’ve become an owner in a horse with us, the next actions include:
- Downloading the PRISM app and creating an account so you can start receiving updates.
- Participation in naming your horse once it is fully subscribed.
- Adrenaline will arrange for owners’ names to be transferred to the horse’s registration details via the myhorseracing site and will assist you in receiving a myhorseracing ID number (if you don’t have one already).
